Back to the Type 97... I know nothing much about this gun and info is scarcely available.

Any Type 97 owners out there that can give me some advice or direction with accessories?

When I came back to check on my thread I realized my mistake.

This thread deserves to be deleted. I will find out if I can do it and get it done, or I'll find a way to request it in the title.

Thanks for the help. I did a search for Type 97 and T97 and got no hits. I obviously wasn't using it right.
 
Which accessories would you like?

T97.ca has railed upper hand guards, aluminum lower hand guards that take beaver tail-less AR grips. Updated buttstock option for magpul buttpads. An angled grip for their lower hand guard.

There is a few options from like BC tactical for charging handles and stuff. Most is more gimicky like weird mag releases. I do like the charging handle for an ambi option but it stops you from taking it down without tools.

Awesome that you for the reply.

The LHG from T97.ca might be something I have to consider if I wish to put a grip. Don't see any other option.
 
That Hogue grip pretty much solved it for me for 10 bucks. If anyone has a link for inexpensive metal lar mags that's all I am lacking. Thx
 
I would take it out and put a couple hundred rounds through it before I spent any more money on it. Make sure you got one that works and is compatible with your magazines.
Once you've done that and decided it's a keeper you should have a better idea of what you want to add to it. Once you have a half decent optic on it I don't really know what else someone would need other than a sling unless you want to try to look all tacticool with lights and lasers.
