So I sent my gun to get cerakoted part 2 Sg542 zombie slayer

Not my style, but if that's what does it for you, who am I to argue? Congrats on finally getting your rifle back the way you wanted it. Don't take it to Walmart though, or you'll be accused of shoplifting.

Where are all those posts that complain when the public and the police get all excited one someone is obviously carrying a toy gun and the police and public should know it is a toy just by looking at it. Not so obvious now is it.

Brilliant urban camo! Will blend right in and no one will think anything of it. I have actually thought of doing the same thing to a pellet rifle so I can blast rabbits in my back yard without attracting attention.

Bravo sir, sorry I doubted your honesty! Considerably more obnoxious than what I imagined. I don't get it, but hopefully it's everything you wanted! Cheers mate, enjoy!

I'll be honest I didn't know what to think about the original thread hoax? #### disturber? well I hoped it was true lol I think it's awesome. I think noisy of the people who hate on this is because they could never fathom paying that much for a rifle and the fact you made simmering awesome with their wet dream gun chaps their ass's

it rocks:) as for the guys talking about the poor resale value. Well they're probably the ones asking 200 more for their uses toys than bnib so don't worry. You should never buy a toy based on what is resale value may look like.

well i guess thats one way to make it your own
good thing about it, you carry it slung over your shoulder everywhere, people will uust think its a toy.

Wow that's a whole lot of colours coming together. I hope you expect to keep it for life and it doesn't require any major warranty issues calling for a replacement rifle (or perhaps that would be a good thing).

I mean taking a $3,000 rifle (taxes in) and spending what must have been close to another $500 to $1,000 more in smithing services and then a scope/rings too, so all that for an easy $4,000+; well no one can say you don't follow through on a plan you have, no matter how outrageous.

Seriously this has to be the quickest depreciation of a rifle/scope combo in CGN history, or does anyone actually think anybody would pay even half of what's been spent if they were required to keep it as is.

Regardless of all my ribbing OP as long as you're happy with the outcome that's all that really matters, but honestly what was your inspiration for this 'ahem' modification?

Cheers D

P.S. I originally was more concerned with how long this upgrade (if you can call it that) was taking, so how long was it at the shop for? Like 8 months?

I'm amazed cerakote comes in those colors.

OP that's certainly a memorable and unique customization ..... I hope you're pleased with it. It would be interesting to see it up close because staring at the photos I'd swear that lots of it is plastic especially the break.

Bubba'd .......... In Technicolor !! Dig it!
