So I sold my AR15 and Got An SKS?

As I said I bought an SKS But I cant find Ammo in Northern Ont. at least with the AR I could allways pick the range after the OPP. Who has 7.62x39 in stock?

No #### sherlock?! So you replaced a 200 SKS shooting 60 year old milsurp with a 1000 dollar bolt gun that shoots an accurate 308 round and you got better accuracy?! WOW, incredible!!! Please, tell us more!

Don't put a crappy plastic stock on it. It's a big waste of money, and I would not do it again.

This is what my new SKS turned into, and I think it looks, and works much better.

Just because something is inexpensive doesn't have to be cheap. One of my friends has a bunch of inexpensive Military Surplus rifles ( Enfield, Mauser) and he can take the nuts off a pigeon at 500 yards with them.

I am just stating that the SKS is not much good beyond 100-200 yards. Price has nothing to do with it. My M14 is only a $450 gun with a single add on: a $50 spring guide. I can draw with it at 100 yards.
