Bought this break action 177 ( Chinese ) .When I bought it I Cocked it and fired it a few times the spring was strong and the trigger felt good ,I couldn't load it at the flea market to shoot it. Got it back home loaded it , shot OK may be I missed loaded again what the frack!! Still nothing loaded and shot again DAM!! This time looked down the barrel no light!!!!!!!! So I shot it 5or6 times still blocked next thing that I know I see three pellets fall to the floor?? The barrel is clear now So my question to you guys is what can I check and how to do it? The breach seals do look flush with the metal ( not puffy) I read on the forum that if I soak it in oil it will swell them up. Are they replaceable? The piston and chamber ? Is there something that I need to check there? Any help would be appreciated, Now I know why I got it for 25.00$. The gun is clean ,don't need a wall hanger. Thanks!

You might have damaged the inexpensive spring piston rifle by dry firing it a "few times". Perhaps the mainspring is broken or was broken when you bought it. A springer sometimes still functions with a broken mainspring, but it progressively gets worse.

Does air come out the barrel when you fire it. WD40 works better to swell the rings then oil. I have jammed a pellet in mine many times and had to use a cleaning rod to remove it.

it may have been worn out or busted before, but because you have been dry firing it there is no way to tell for sure. you should NEVER dry fire a springer, you will bust the sh!t out of the piston/cylinder. I learnt that the hard way with a old beeman break barrel about 7 years ago. im sorry to say, but you may have messed it up though.

Thanks guy 's for the "what happened" But now how do I go About fixing it? What are the possible pit falls? I am good at fixing things got all the tools. I had a pellet gun in my teens shot the hell out of it ( yes dry fired it alot never a problem)

You're going to have to take it apart. Be very careful when you remove the end cap as there is usually some preload on the spring. When you get it apart it should be fairly obvious where the problem lies. Torn piston cup seal, broken spring, head broken off of piston, etc.

You could have bought a brand new one at Princess Auto for the same price. I used 3 in 1 oil on my Slavia 624 and it worked great on the seals.
