So my Xtreema II......

"Don't shoot 3.5's"

Yeah, that's kinda like saying "Don't drive your ZX11 faster than 50" :D

I bought the XII so I COULD shoot 3.5's....they were never a problem in my other guns, but this thing feels like when I used to shoot the FN's..sore cheek :(

I was wondering if the KO had something to do with it.

the stock is not right yet keep twiking it till it drives strat back instead of jumping up in your face DUTCH

When you finally feel comfortable with the gun, and it fits you right. Go out to the "club" and pattern it. You might find that the 3" will pattern better than the 3 1/2".

Does the recoil pad sit flat on your shoulder? E.g. if the pitch is wrong and the bottom of the recoil pad is making much better contact, under recoil the shotgun will roll upwards in your shoulder pocket and the comb will smack you in the cheek.

Did that yesterday :)

The best patterns by far of the 14-15 different loads I tried were Kent Fasteel 3 1/2" #3's. A close second was the Blackcloud #4's in a 3", but I was gettting far more pellets in the circle (10" circle, 30 yards) with the Kents.

I also found that the IM choke worked better with most of the 3", but the 3 1/2's really shone with the full choke...weird.

I have also found that kents 3 1/2 pattern best.
My Extreama II with KO dosn't seem to pound my cheek at all on the lighter loads but i think most guns do some pretty violent things with a 3.5 in the pipe. Still i can't say i really noticed it smacking me before.

Hmmm...which spacer # are you using? I realize it will vary, but I gotta start somewhere :)

Cast off, cast on, drop, and length of pull, may not be what needs to be tweeked. Look at pitch! Not sure how to do that on a stock with kick off?
