As the title says, selling my M&P, I love the feel of the gun, but it's way too fussy, and not all that accurate. And yes, I lubed, polished and tried all the tricks.

I was tempted to buy another .22 semi-auto, but most likely it would be as fussy, so I am thinking time for a reliable revolver.

What y'all think?

Maybe that's a feature to make it a more realistic training gun?

Another thumbs up for Alfa Proj.

It's the CZ 75B of revolvers.

A number of different configurations.

You should give it a look as well.

I own the 2251 (top one in pic) and love it...accurate, well balanced, fit and finish excellent.

Revolvers are where it is at for .22LR reliability. I have tried a number of semi-auto .22's and none can beat the utility of a revolver.

I listened to your advice:

Shot about 200 rounds, some Winchester M-22, Winchester White box bulk crap, and some Golden Target (Lapua), had 2 light strikes, 5 FTE, a multitude better performance than the M&P. Shot 3" groups at 8m, this was without my glasses and some after coffee shakes.
To be fair, comparing the guns is apple and oranges.

Off to order a FO front sight and some extra mags! :)

Give it 500 rounds of high velocity and it will eat anything after that. My go to .22 ammo for autos is Blazer bulk...accurate enough and functions the best out of any .22lr I have tried.

I have a Buckmark. I will admit, when I first got it and shot it, I would get a fair amount of jams. I gave it a thorough cleaning and took it out to the range last week and there was not a single issue. I probably put 200 rounds through it.

22 revolvers also tend to be twice as expensive as semi-autos (from what's I've seen looking at the modern Ruger and S&W offerings).

Have you tried Federal blue box? Mine ran well on that after about four bricks went through it. I was a little frustrated with it to start then it started shooting well for me.I hate guns that have problems! It also needs to be cleaned at least every 500 rounds.

Never had any trouble from my CZ Kadet kit, maybe 1200 rounds. (Don't think it ever failed) I changed hammer springs for 9mm, now it likes mini mags the best for NO light primer strikes. If you could find a CZ Kadet pistol, it would be the best solution.
