So This AR15 Thing...

Apparently this has now worked its way up here, as while I was down scoping out ammunition at Saskatoon GunWorks at least three people came in inquiring about this "AR15 thing". One left with a brand, spanking-new Adcor rifle (our CFOs rule). Ammunition, Ruger 10/22's and shotguns were also going out the door. At this rate the only AR15-type rifles you're likely to find are Benelli MR1s...

Don't see any point in panic buying any restricted's here. If the gov ever decides to do a ban they are all gone anyway ala Australia.

People are panic buying here not because they think that our government is going to ban them (at least, not till there's a non-Conservative government in power), but rather because due to supply issues down south and the threat of a possible ban calling the manufacturing chain into question, it's going to be hard to get guns and parts for a while. My best friend for example had been planning to get an AR "some day" but as soon as the SHTF down south he put his butt in gear and started buying parts for fear he wouldn't get them otherwise. Unfortunately he is currently stuck without a barrel and gas tube due to the supply issues.

on a related note, sorta....I was just checking out canadaammos ammunition. Of the 10 pages of product they sell, only the first 3 pages had ammo. The other 7 were completely a sea of red out of stock!

Can Ammo's website out of stock is pretty normal, is just like the Mayan calender, it means absolutely nothing
