well the bigger question and why people should be mad about classing guns is why is there a prohibited class but you cant even try or apply to get a prohib licence?

as far as I know the only way you can get a prohib firearm or licence is if your granddad owned one an willed it to you after he died?

NO , if you owned one at that time you were grandfathered .
