So, uh, anyone else starting to plan next year hunt?

Coyotes and rabbits now. Turkey come April, Bear at the end of May / first of June. Then back to waterfowl, deer and little critters come next fall. Not entirely sure if I'll go for moose next year. Starting to look at hunts for Chamois in Carpathian Mountains or France for 2023/2024 but we'll see what comes of that.

Some of our family is off to Africa again in August . Grandson will hunt plains game with a rifle, son will hunt the same with a bow and I will hunt a few buffalo with a 470 double. can't wait! Brian Gallup

It's always in the back of my mind, but no, no serious plans other than a few regular destinaiotns for particular times of the year.

A trip to Vancouver Island might be in the works for spring bear, just because I have some personal reasons for going anyway, so why not bring a tag and the gun.

Hopefully when I get back home we will go for a few bison hunts! Maybe a bear hunt in the spring when the green starts showing up and then I would like to go back for caribou in the mountains with my daughter and wife in august!! After that is the usual moose hunt canoe trip somewhere up here!!

caribou in august the best.

I've vaguely started planning for the fall. Hoping to do a waterfowl hunt in Saskatchewan with some friends from Wyoming. Also trying to decide which draw I should put in for in Alberta...Mule Deer or Elk. Guaranteed to draw them, just need to decide which one I want to hunt this year and which one for next year. My Alberta plan is to build points for several species and then rotate through so that I can (hopefully) hunt something out there every year.

In the process as well, looking at a week or two for a combined spring bear hunt/fishing trip and two-three weeks for moose in region 6 of BC. I may go to the Gwaii for blacktails as well but we'll see.
