My favorite is my homemade bowling pin rack...being I shoot bowling pin matches with powder burners I made this rack to keep in practice in the basement all year long using pellet guns. My grand children also find the pins fun to shoot as it is reactive giving them instant feedback. We use an electronic timer just like with real pin shooting.

That looks like a lot of fun! I'm thinking I might have to dust off the ol' pellet gun and see if the o-rings and whatnot are up to the task!

Took an old milk crate, lined it with cardboard, then put 2 layers of duct putty (those 'bricks' you can get at home depot) to absorb the pellets. Works amazingly well, has absorbed many shots, and is great for fetching stacks out of. At 25 yards stacking pellets 5 or 6 on top of each other is easy to pick out, and, printed paper targets stick to it with no staples tacks or other adhesives. its small, easy to cart around, and I tend to put other things in the crate like adjustment tools, targets, chrony, etc. to make it easy to cart out to the farm or range.

I found a long (24" or so) coiled spring on a jobsite, and jammed the narrow neck of an empty CO2 cylinder into one end. Put a self-tapping screw in as well for extra security. Supported the other end of the spring vertically so that the cylinder stood upright at the top. Terrific fun little target, but of course ricochets were unpredictable, so the whole thing was placed at one end of a "tunnel" constructed of scrap plywood. The entire assembly went into my crawlspace, oriented so that I could open the crawlspace hatch, and then stand at one end of the basement and shoot through the hatch, down the tunnel and at the spring. This gizmo withstood many thousands of hits from low-power, non-PAL rated airguns; once it was in place and adjusted perfectly, I never had to climb into the crawlspace to service it, ever. I left it there when I moved, and fully intend to do something similar in this house.

At home i use a metal trap and paper but if im out where i know i can spend the day shooting i pull out my gamo field targets. I picked up 4 a few years ago with changeable face plate kit. Just love em!

Something not to use!!!!!! I bought one of those orange rubber self healing targets. Do not use these with airguns!! I have an HW95 in .22 cal 750 fps, they hit the target and come right back in your face.

Just barn pigeons these days. Best tool I've found for the job, and I think I've tried them all. lol I'd like an indoor set-up like in some of these photos...house is just too small.
