Just picked mine up a few hours ago. Tbh I'm a little disappointed at the intial quality. There was visible pitting in the bipod where the leg meets the folding mechanism that looks like it could break off at any point. There is visible rust in the bolt (pin that holds in the extractor). There were multiple dents in the lower handguard and black paint on the upper where they painted the gas piston cover and it looks like they didnt shellac the top of the lower handguard (hidden by upper handguard, but still). The finish on the reciever is not very well done (small amounts of visible pitting) and finally, the fit and finish of the lower handguard is pretty pathetic (not square to reciever, but angled a bit, ugly lines from milling and rough edges). Oh, and the front sight is drifted allll the way over to the left.
I know they're Chinese rifles, but for a $1500 price tag I expected better. Was considering a folder when back in stock, but I can't see myself buying another.
