ARX100 got prohibited (rats), we got another Tavor (X95), Beowulf magazines are still contentious, a few new toys (BT ACR223), Liberals scrapped the Amnesty, the RCMP didn't destroy the registry and another LGR is on the horizon. Did I miss anything else? Oh, and a few folks still owe me a few bucks for thinking Trudeau had zero chance of getting elected with a majority...
 
RCMP banned a CZ just for the writing on it... Beowulf mags are now limited to 2 red or 5 of 223 (now dual purpose classification). NEA is still NEAing and we are all on the edge of our seat waiting for their NEA102 to be classified restricted. One shot tactical has awesome Team Canada shooting hats. The Turd spent 200k on a giant inflatable duck but estimates that it will bring in 1.2mill in revenue (liberals just don't ask how and it will be ok).

It's late that's all I got so far.

I saw the muzzle brake, lol. Apparently three years wasn't enough for quality control... I really wanted an ARX100, so that's twice now I've been screwed (the first being the SCAR). How is the new X95 compared to the TAR-21?

The SCAR is still a possibility, albeit a .308 via Irunguns...yeah I was pissed about the ARX100 too :mad: But looks like good things are coming down the NR pipe so hang in there :cool:

I honestly don't even remember beyond my last infraction back in 2013. A number of points accrued would probably be more applicable (19). Infractions are pretty much a right of passage so I suspect I'm in good company. I just kind of dropped off the shooting grid for the past few years and thought I'd poke my head back in to see what all I'd missed.
 
X95 has many improvments ie, charging handle, forend, ambi mag release, slide release, trigger, im missing some im sure. expensive but worth it.

Different location for the charging handle for the 95. The mag release button was changed to a nice AR15 location. The accuracy is the same as the original Tavor. The X95 is slighly heavier then the original Tavor despite the fact it appears smaller. Not sure about Tavor eye on the 95. I guess you can say the handling is better on the 95 if you were not comfortable with the mag release on the Tar21.

I personally dont think the upgrade to a X95 is worth it if you already have a Tavor. Others will disagree. However if you dont have a Tavor, by all means get a X95 if you have the money to spend or get a used TAR21 at a lower price now.
 
Jay!! Good to see you again. I just came back here myself after taking a few years away from shooting (and every other other hobby now that I look back). Building a house has really cramped my style. Anyhoo, give me a call sometime and and we can catch up and/or go shooting...either here or in S'toon somewhere.
