So now that the 2-way tariffs are in place between Canada and the USA will the selling prices of popular American firearms increase?

For example I have 2 JM Marlin made rifles, a pre-safety Golden 39A .22 lever action, and a 1895 45-70 rifle with cross-bolt safety. Both rifles are in very good condition.

If I was to place them on the EE what would be a fair price ?

Depends who you talk to.

Some are saying in stock items today should be increased 25%.

Some say only new items crossing the border should be increased in price.

Your call.

Just to play it safe I ordered a substantial amount of various calibers of ammo from 3 different vendors yesterday.

Look on gunnpost and see what others are asking and use that as a guidline

Sorry, between the anti Americanism on here and the tds, US built guns are no longer acceptable. You'll have to dispose of them for scrap (assuming you can find any patriotic Canadian willing to touch such tainted items, US cooties could rub off you know), and then replace them with some quality Ukrainian built lever guns. Sorry. ;) - dan

Sounds like a regular bit of profiteering you’re after- now’s your chance! 🤦

It's a free country. If it's too expensive for you, you can't afford it, so you shouldn't buy.
I mostly stopped with guns and ammo. Everything is overpriced, plus I got enough crap I don't shoot.

Do you believe tariffs work?
I don't...wouldn't be buying from you.
That's my opinion.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Hence Trudeau, the cost of living more than doubled, which is over 100%. Why is there an armagedon uproar over 25%?
This is how JT and the sunshine band covers up 10 years of failed policies - agree cost of living is insance - less than 50 dollars worth of natural gas came with an 82 dollar carbon tax when you factor in the tax on the tax
