My first pistol was a Ruger Mk IV Hunter, stainless 6" barrel.
Very accurate, was plinking a 15" gong at 100m (semi-supported) and hitting 7 out of 10.
It was a great pistol to learn on, the minimal recoil helped refine my technique and helped make me more accurate when I stepped up to bigger calibers.
I sold it, because I got bored of it with 8 other pistols to play with. My best friend bought it for his wife to shoot (she doesn't like the noise of a 9mm) and she loves shooting the .22 at the range.
So I no longer have it, but it went to a good home.

In 1969 I purchased a .22 LR/.22 MAG Herbert Schmidt single action revolver. I no longer have it, but if I did, it would be a rental as are 3/4 of my handguns. 12.6 stinks.

Ruger gp 100 love the bang hate the accuracy followed later by a Browning buckmark love the accuracy. Hopefully in the near future some 1911's.;)

Smith & Wesson M&P 9 and M&P 22.

Took them to the range for the first time on Monday. As expected the 22 had quirks. Seems like anything 22LR has quirks. Well, except my 10/22 which works perfect when operated competently. The M&P 9 was flawless, of course. The only issue is my shooting ability. I do hit paper at 7 meters but that's as far as it goes, so far. And the 10 round mags are not very eager to accept the 10th round. I just fixed it by filing down the follower legs a little bit.
