not planning on getting rid of either anytime soon.

A used 4" Ruger Security Six blued with the old style grip frame (pre 151) which was almost like a single action. This was in 1975 and it cost me $100 with 2 boxes of ammo.

First handgun I bought was a Sig p226 9mm, but while waiting for it to come in I got a Ruger MKII target, so I guess that was the first one I actually owned.

My first was a 40 year old Ruger 22 Standard; I bought it for $125 off of an estate. It was quite a feet to buy that as I was going to university at the time and was getting quite a bit of assistance from ym parents; I plead my case to my father and he said go for it and he would deal with my mother :).

I bought my first handgun in the 1970's. My Mom had to buy it for me as I was only 16-17 at the time. Once I turned 18, I had it transferred to me. It was a Smith and Wesson M-39-2 9mm auto. I still have it.

Pre-b CZ-75 was my first about 22-23 years ago now. I wish I'd have kept it along with the hi cap mags, impossible to get now..., hindsight.

I've since owned a number of other pistols (mostly CZ's, S&W) but currently own none.

I've decided to try my hand at skeet/sporting clays/trap for a change of pace so I just picked up a basic sporting type O/U 12ga. Ammo is about the same cost as shooting 9mm, the range/membership costs are a little less, and no need for an ATT (which is nice). It also doesn't hurt that I'm pretty close to AHEIA's shotgun sports range just south of town :).

That said I'm sure I'll end up with another pistol (or two) at some point down the road.

New to the sport, CZ 75B - 9mm approx. 7 months ago, love it!!! Thinking about adding a S&W 686 in the near future.
