Great little carbines, Polish M44's are the best made and nicest looking of any M44..except perhaps a laminate. ...

I concur. Although I do most of my deer hunting with a 91/30, my first one.

I have used a Hungarian 91/30 sniper rifle in years past for deer...and I may go back to one again.....
Anyone have a Romanian M44 ?,?..I had 2 and sold both..duh...
