I just bought a Norinco from Canada Ammo and was reading the inspection sticky. Where would I find a USGI bolt, guide rod, guide rod spring?

I wouldn't mind getting an VLTOR stock either, who sells those?

Thanks

USGI components can be difficult to find. Try treelinem14.com or shop.m14-parts.com. In Canada Armtac has a good selection of M14 parts from Sadlack, LRB and others.

Why do you want to replace yur bolt? Do you believe there is something wrong with your Norc bolt or do you believe that your headspace is excessive, or have other reasons? Just curious given that it's a new rifle.

USGI guide rod and spring are a waste of cash in my view. If you want US spec. components, buy from SEI or Sadlack - don't think you'll see any difference.

Treeline is your best bet and a great outfit to deal with bought my spring quide and spring from them and found a vented hand guard really helped my Norc

Is the barrel on the shorty Norc 18.5 or 18.6?

Any Canadian sources for barrels? I would think barrels fall under ITAR and require export papers if I were to buy one from the US?

By the way, thanks everyone for the replies, I appreciate it.

Just trying to figure where I'll need to shop if I were to need parts. I'm probably going to have a gunsmith check the headspace once I receive it.
