I prefer vodka for cleaning the wound and if the wound is bad enough it will dull the pain also

Is the vodka used externally or internally, I have used cheap whiskey "Canadian Club" for external cuts, reserving the good stuff "Gibsons" for internal medication.

No no no ... you are supposed to clean the wound, not your mouth, with the Vodka

If you want it to heal within a day try Furicin .... They say it is only for dogs and horses (and not for animals to be slaughtered)..... But it works great for fast healing.

If you pour the alcohol directly on the wound, it will get into your bloodstream faster, thus getting you "medicated" quicker!
