so who else is anxiously waiting the new falcon menace?

you can imagine cyberk trying to answer the myriad of questions from everyone, i know i pestered the hell out of him myself, he was fine with me, slight delay but he cannot control customs..i think he was fine.

Mike , was good with me answered all my e-mails even sent the EGW base ahead of time , He was put in a bad spot with customs delay's etc, not His fault , I will definetly deal with Mike Again.:sniper:
 
Mike was awesome as far as comms go... always received an answer within a few minutes (overnight at the LONGEST).

I haven't fired my new 4.5-18x56 yet, but hoping to this weekend... the scope is a monster!

My 4-14x44 should be arriving later this week... that ones going on my 700 in .308 :)

well my wait has ended i received my falcon last friday,had to wait till yesterday to get it mounted.i too was surprised that there was no paperwork of any kind in the box.the scope was packaged very well in the box. very good glass compared to my leupold tactical 4.5x14 and my 6x24 4200 all side by side it is very hard to come up with a winner.no bad for $400.00.was out at selkirk range on tue.breaking in my rem700 .308.the scope worked perfectly although the magnification ring is very stiff.i did get a chance to remove the turrets to reset the zero,no problems,i did find the front lens cover has a tendency to migrate forward with the recoil and will fall off if not watchin it.no big deal.plan on replacing them with some butler creek covers.my only complaint was with cyberk who rarely responded to emails was kept in the dark the whole time waiting.some buddies of mine were also not impressed with the lack of communication.

I had an email list that I used to keep everyone informed. If there were a few addresses left off the list I apologize for that. It is possible that a few emails slipped through the cracks, but we try our hardest to answer every one that comes in within 24hrs. Things got a little crazy with all of the delays, but we are VERY happy now that the scopes are all here and mailed out, as I am sure everyone who ordered one is as well!!!
 
All I got ot say is;
Great scope and greater yet is 'Allen Gun Works' (Mike). Ya so there was a bit of a delay and we're all like kids at Christmas and can't wait to get our hands on our new present. But who ever heard of ANYONE throwing in a nice EGW mount AND a cheque for $40.45 to compensate for an understandable delay? To me that says a whole lot. I'll be back as a loyal customer.

I got my second Menace the other day and as usual the wait(short as it was) was worth it. As far as lens covers go, I'm using medium rings on both rifles so I'll have to use some sort of cover, not lens caps.

Got mine the other day, mounted it last night. I used Leupold High rings and they are just about perfect. Now I just have to go shootin!
 
Here it is mounted on my LTR without the full sunshade on. With Leupold High rings on a 20MOA base, it sits about a 1/4 inch from the barrel at the closest point. I'm happy so far. :D

Falcon ????

Just got back from the Range today , Fantastic scope , I have a ZIESS on the other rifle i had with me and i cannot tell the difference in Clarity between the two scopes , at 300 Meters the target was real easy to see and I put some nice groups in , There were quite a few shooters up there today getting ready for a Match shoot this weekend and all of the Competitors were really impressed with it ,We compared it to a Expensive Nght Force on a F Class rifle and again the Falcon showed just as good , As soon as i can figure how to post pictures i will put some up :sniper:
 
Here's a couple of pics of my two new scopes.

Menace 4-14x44 - Metric turrets and ESLR reticle. This is a LH Rem 700VS in .308. Near Mfg 25MOA base with low TPS steel rings. I wish TPS made extra low, because I still think they're a touch too high.

This is a 4.5-18x56mm with Metric turrets and MP20 reticle (which is sweet, by the way). Its on my LH Tikka Varmint in 223. Very accurate gun - now to sight it in with the new scope! Nailing gophers at extended ranges should be fun - the reticle is great for quick holdover shots when those little buggers don't give you time to adjust your turrets.. :)

One's going on my 10/22 target, and the second one is going on my Mini 14 target

The wait is hard. But it sounds like it'll be worth it.

I compared my 4.5-18-56 Falcon to my Leupold vxIII and found there was no difference between the 2 as far as clarity goes. I am pleased with the mp 20 recticle. I am a firm beliver in getting what you pay for. In this case i feel i have a quallity scope for a decent price. Heres a couple of pics.

Ahhh a 5R milspec. Currently one of my favourite firearms.
I put a Zeiss Conquest on mine. It'll be interesting to see how the Falcon Menace 4-14x 44m compares.
