I like the fact it's so light, but reading up on it, there seem to be a lot of QC issues. if you have one of these, where did you get it (IRG or from a CAD reseller?) and did you have any issues? if you did, were they easy to fix or have remedied?

I am not familiar with this model, but recently have experienced an issue with a Taurus revolver with a broken transfer bar. Called Taurus directly and they will NOT honour warranty or support the Canadian market. There is no one in Canada that does Taurus warranty work. Don't walk but run from any Taurus product as far as I am concerned!

I do believe you were mislead. I just Googled 'Taurus Canada Warranty' and BullsEye has a list and specifies the company to contact regarding Taurus service issues:
https://www.bullseyelondon.com/warranty

hope this helps! :)

I tried the link from Bulls Eye which I called the gun shop in Quebec that is supposed to do warranty work for Taurus. He confirmed exactly what Taurus representative told me.

I'm sorry to hear that ten. is it something that can be fixed by a replacement part? I'm not familiar with revolvers or their part names. if it is, you might be able to source what you need through IRG now that ITAR has loosened up. I hope that's the case!

Luckily, I have found a gunsmith/machinist who is going to mill me and fit a new piece. I will follow up with a post regarding the repair and range report.
Cheers!

I have one, picked it up from IRG a few months ago. I have to say I love it, only have about 500 rounds through it so far though. No failures of any kind, I have used the Federal 525 bulk pack, Winchester 555 bulk, and CCI mini mag. When I got it I couldn’t put it down, it feels that good in the hand! Have not had a chance to shoot for any type of accuracy, but we do have some 3” gongs at the outdoor range at about 20 yards, and can hit them quite regularly. Over the years I have had a bunch of different 22 handguns, only two remain in the safe, this one will be the third. For the cost of the gun and mags, I don’t think there is much better value, and it works excellent! Also using IRG was a painless experience, good bunch to deal with

I think you will like it, just have to get used to the weight, or lack of it! Feels like pointing your finger! Plus mags seem to be readily available, and a decent price at 19.99 US, especially for a new gun
