So who loves M1 carbines?

After watching so many go by the exchange over the years, I finally decided to grab one.

Don't know why I waited so long, as I always wanted one since I was a kid. Maybe it's because it isn't really a very practical firearm for my uses, but now I can afford to get one just because I want one.

I've heard they're fun to shoot, so now I'll find out. I don't plan on becoming a collector, but I could see having another one...

Who else likes them?

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Glad its going to a good home. Woulda kept it but the M14 build is getting slightly out of hand at a very fast rate :runaway: It better shoot good :sniper:

"...a restricted PAL...can take it to the range..." The RPAL doesn't let you go anywhere with anything. It's an ownership permit only.
You need an ATT with restricted rifles on it to take a carbine to a range. Said range needs to be rated for restricted rifles too. Not all ranges are.

Maybe I missed something...

is there a different requirement to shoot a restricted rifle as opposed to a restricted firearm ie pistol? Or, is there a different designation for range approval, one for pistol and another for rifle?

I always thought that a range approved for restricted firearms included pistol and rifle. Same with ATT, allows transport of pistol or rife? My ATT doesn't say anything about whether it is for a pistol or a rifle, just "restricted firearms".
