i drive to calgary and back, for a total of 385 miles for work, pulling turnpikes.......... i think about ### maybe about 20 of those miles, or when a hot chick drives by in the summer, but i bet 300 pf those miles is thinking about my next hunting trip, and what my next gun purchase is gonna be the rest, is spent in a vegetated state

Speaking of aftermarket stocks, what's the legality on sticking an aftermarket folding stock on these babies?(I've got a Butler Creek sidefolder lying around gunless at the moment)?

From reading all of the posts I believe if when you put on a stock that folds or telescopes or cut a stock and your overall length is less than 26 in. you have created a prohibited gun. As the rules stand now if you install a factory made stock or pistol grip that does not fold or telescope, it can be less than 26 in. I believe the law said you could not be shorter than 26 in. by cutting folding or telescoping but did not mention substituting factory made pistol grips and other types of factory made stocks. I also believe that the reason the guns come into the country with a sporting stock is, if it came in with a pistol grip and a short barrel ,they would make it restricted when it entered the country. But if it comes in unrestricted and it gets shortened by not being cut, folded,or telescoped , all is okay, so far.
