SO who ordered a Dominion Arms 870 Grizzly

I just got off the phone with canada ammo , and they said they just got finished up with december orders. If your like me and ordered on Jan. 2 then these orders are going to be processed in the next few days so everyone like me will have to be patient. I was a little curious also because i ordered and wasn't yet billed for it. He said if i didn't have it next week to call him back. He sounded like a really nice guy so i think doing business with them will be no problem.
 
I just picked mine up. Looks better than I was expecting from China. The trigger group looks very nicely machined, but the barrel thickness looks a little out of center at the muzzle. Probably won't matter.
I like the brass bead sight, and the plastic furniture is more than adequate. No sharp corners.
Definitely worth the bucks. I wonder if they are only half as good as Dlasks?
Too bad his are so much, I would rather support Canada but hey, what are you going to do?

I will get the 8.5" Mag fed when they show up!
 
Can someone post a bunch of pictures of theirs?

Also, for those who own one, will it take a 6 shot side saddle or just a 4 shot?

dimensionally its the same as an 870. i didnt get a chance to see if the factory forend overlaps the receiver like on all 870s when slid back (which is what i think keeps 6-shot sidesaddles from being easily installed), since i took the factory stock off about 2 minutes after i opened the box.

my bore is perfectly centered. the action is rough when you first get it, but smooths out relatively quickly.

What exactly does the marking say on the side? I can make out "grizzly"... but not the rest...

NOTE: I ordered mine at the end of NOVEMBER before they landed in Canada. Just got it this morning. This would indicate that CanadaAmmo is "swamped" plus we had the usual x-mas delays. I can only imagine that it is insane over there trying to ship these guns as fast as they can.

All I can say is be patient, they will arrive in due time. Took one week via Canada Post from Vancouver to Montreal.

Now I need a tactical sling. :D

got mine this morning:)
haven't shot it yet, i'm not done fondling it yet:D
my first impression of quality is very good, definately tighter and smoother cycling than my previous rem870 camp gun(18.5").
one question, what is the best way to remove the mag cap?
i tried a large screwdriver in the cross slots, but she's quite snug and my screwdriver slipped before budging.
suggestions anyone

Try pushing the barrel towards the receiver as you twist...Channel locks and a thick rag should work!
 
I'm just assuming since it becomes under the 26in mark. Anyone else wanna jump in and let us know? I'd love to know too.
