SO who ordered a Dominion Arms 870 Grizzly

Just an aside here, can the front bead sight be removed on these like turning clock-wise on some 870's . Perhaps a hi viz front sight would be in the future when i get mine . By the way , did these come via canada post ? Thanks alot guys.

Well my 870 Grizzly works like a charm I mixed 3 inch and 2 3/4 together no jams nothing. Hold on tight, It gives a 12-14 inch spread at 20-25 feet. With 000, 00 buck shot and # 4 bird shot. Its a joy to shoot.

I have one coming, and was worried about excessive spread. This is actually more than I would like.

I'm thinking I should have waited for the 14" barrel, that takes chokes (modified).

Oh well........will just have to shoot twice.

just a big thanx to Chris at can am,picked up my grizz at the hacs gun show today,i noticed the beads are all drilled a little sloping to the rear,my bbl indexing is off slightly also, but other than that the gun exceeded my expectations for a chinese firearm! the quality control is very good, the gun feels solid & overall finish is pretty good. the gun is a tad heavy, but thats probably good when i start rippin 3" slugs thru it. overall very pleased with what i got. i would suggest picking 1 up before they sell out,or wait for the 8.5" mag fed!! i know ill be pickin up 1 when they come in.:)

3" shells with the pistol grip are "painful". Once you have shot five, and then a box of 2 3/4"... its time to put it away. I don't have much strength left in my hand, sort of went overboard this afternoon. But, boy was it ever FUN!!!!!!

The 3" 00 shells do produce a very pretty fireball. Muzzle filp is not too bad. But recoil whacks your wrist bone and travels to your elbow.

Cylinder choke, so pattern is pretty wide. Thinking #4 or #2 for zombie defence. A slug would go thru the wall and penetrate into a neighbors house, so gotta be careful on defence loads.

The good thing is, if you are using it when you 'need' to, probably you will be only firing twice. ;o)

I just picked up the grip forestock from Chris today, and put on the grip stock. Looks much cooler!

Don't worry...I ordered on Dec 3rd and still sit here drooling over the pic's of the guys who have them already. I sent an e-mail on friday and Chris replied saying it was shipped. I did not get a tracking number, but I expect it any day...I just hope it gets here before my specops stock...I will look funny running around the range with just a stock yelling bang.
