SO who ordered a Dominion Arms 870 Grizzly

Hey Nester, how do you change over to ghost ring sights? NEWBIE here with tactical shotgun anything...

Cheers
Jay

For Scattergun style the rear sight needs to have the receiver drilled and tapped. For your front sight the bead is removed and replaced with the new sight, fixed by solder or expoxy if I'm not mistaken.

xs makes some sites im looking at,drill & tap rear, banded on front with titium insert, i wanted to drill & tap weaver rail & find weaver rear site & red dot ahead of it but im still looking for a weaver rear ghost site, let me know if anyone knows of one, tse has the xs sights

Mine arrived today. It looks good and well worth the money.

There was no pistol grip with mine...did you other guys get a pistol grip with the gun? Or is it an accessory you bought after?

Anyway, it looks good and the action is nice and tight. I can't wait to get out to the range and give it a work out.

Yeah, no pistol grip for me either. I am sure CanAm will make it right.

Man, I would gladly wait a month for a pistol grip to get a chance to go to the Daytona 500.

This is how it was explained to me by an old gun guy. To follow the letter of the law...

1) Once you install the pistol grip, you (legally) have 28 DAYS to inform your CFO that the firearm has been "MODIFIED". It would then be reclassified as a "RESTRICTED" firearm, same as a handgun.

2) If you re-install the original butt stock on DAY 27, you remain (legally) NON-RESTRICTED and the clock gets set back to ZERO.

My advice is DO NOT lose the standard butt stock!

This is the law, stupid as it may seem. You now know what you have to do to remain "unrestricted & legal".

is this true for the 14" Norinco too?

I thought I would share some pictures of my new 870 Grizzly. No chance to shoot it yet - maybe next week.:shotgun:

I added my own 'custom' flashlight mount. It's not fancy, but very affordable and functional.

Enjoy!
