The NR Bren M2 will probably be the carbine version. Not the pistol version lol. Although carbine has a 16.5” barrel which will have to be longer for Cdn market.

The rifle submitted for review was surely made and sent before the OIC, or am I wrong? I am definitely in for one if they produce a NR lenght, I'm just not sure if they will risk a production run that might get banned before it leaves the factory.

You're objectively wrong, the 11" 16.5" gained an R FRT# there is also an NR FRT# for an 18.5" barrel 5.56/.223 and 7.62x39 variant

I imagine it would be but I'd be happy with just about any NR configuration of the Bren over the current crop of 5.56 options. I just hope they don't jack the price too high but I suppose that's just wishful thinking.
