So why are none of us Hunters talking about the 30 x 30 Intiative?

If we were men from a generation which still had honesty and integrity and humility, we would listen for the truth, and live by it - but now, we only yap like dogs - or peep like frogs from our stupid position in this swamp. Opinion is not truth - collecting millions of similar opinions, does not make it truth - democracy is not led by high values, but pushed by the lowest denominator. We are better named and identified by what we tolerate, than what we support - and lying has become so commonplace, that our words and meanings have no value - we have no noble thought about anything.

Someone says something - we bark - someone offends us - we bark - someone kicks us - we cower - someone tells us a truth that discomforts us - and we bark, just so we cannot hear their words.

My advice? Shut up and listen... listen for the words that do not puff up our ego - listen for the condemning little things that no one has said except the little voices inside - listen for the uncomfortable truths that offer to lead us to a place of humility before Truth - because Truth is like a word spoken by the King of everything. It does not change like opinion - it does not blow in the wind, and it does not have ill-will towards us like our self-destructive opinions do - and it is by Truth that everything is made. If you are chosen to be a friend of Truth, it is a noble place - bow before it - and be a servant of it - and the mystery of all of this apparent nonsense may begin to make sense.

Yes, we are on a collision course with a stone wall - but that is not the end - just the end of our stupidity - bring it on - because this is the place where stupidity and wisdom meet - and the stupid loses when it collides with Truth - like where light meets darkness, light always wins. We can abuse everything good, but it will rise again - and we can follow the stupidest opinions that can be imagined, but they will all hit the wall - and good comes from this - so the end is not bad - but holding tight to stupid will be more painful - so let it go.

What is the truth? ... it might be all the things that we left behind when we came to where we are now - making noise about our rights, but we left them behind when we stopped seeking what is right - because it is only a free man who has rights - and we have become slaves to some ... things that are not right - to some values that are not right, and to some leaders who do not love us or truth.

Sounds like someone is having trouble getting a Big Red going - I'd better help.

We need to be able to have these conversations, through that we will do what’s right for humanity, because there are more good people than bad. The bad always prey on us, they always seek power where we do not, it’s a guarantee if left unchecked the foxes end up running the henhouse. Most civilizations can’t get past 250 years because of it, and that’s where we’re at.

Great couple posts above. You have to feel your way through this, your gut(consciousness) will talk to you and lead you the right way but you have to be able to hear it over the narrative.

The psychological behind this is massive, and very calculated, we need to ‘feel’ whatever we can here. We need to park comfort. What’s at stake is so much greater. I want to see grandkids and I want them to be free. That is my only driver. The children are everything. We’re gone without them. We’re gone if we cannot find the truth. The only formula forward is based on it. If your truth is inverted and or hidden then you go the wrong direction. This is exactly where we’re at.

Kudos to this forum and the mods that allow these discussions some air time. It’s important.

Glad to see some support and a forum that won’t eliminate our voices. Alberta forum however will be remembered when this unfolds, and those who silenced those who were able to reclaim their minds a little ahead of the others. We will all get to the same place on this, time is the only delta.

I have no doubt if actually take in all the info and process to your own conclusion you will not fall victim to the brushing of any opposing view as a tinfoil hat right wing 100 other bad things lol. You simply show where you’re at in this and like any discussion you’d like to participate in...if you haven’t done your homework then you come in the one legged man in the arse kicking contest. It doesn’t look good on you as you strike me as a guy who likes to be more than prepared. This a big topic though so it’s gonna take a minute for you to get to same level but brush painting the narrative pushers slangs is no longer good enough or an out to dismiss a message by taking down the messengers. You’re better than that. That’s what NPC’s do.
 
If I ever end up on that ‘level’ something has gone horribly awry in my life and critical thinking ability. This is right up there with contrails unfortunately.

Out of all of them, hors555’s post makes the most sense in this thread. Some of this stuff is just plain bizarre, some seem to lust for a hidden narrative that doesn’t exist so they can be on the inside of the secret. Reality is much plainer than fiction, and much less exciting.

Over 100 countries have agreed to the 30x30 initiative to preserve 30% of their area as wilderness. If you want to ascribe that feat to Trudeau even in part you’re paying a former drama teacher a hell of a compliment.
 
Wonder how much wilderness China has? Canada and Russia have a lot. At least I think Russia has. Every other country is done. Someone bring up a country or a couple that have any true wilderness that you can't walk out of
 
China has a lot of wilderness still, though it’s under attack as it is in Canada too.

There are too many to post without drying out the eyes. As great, or greater wildernesses if measured by the life they contain exist across Africa, Asia, and South America; they’re enormous and you’re not walking out of them. Canada would rank amongst the easier by far to walk out of.

Using just mammal species as it’s unfair to compare Canada on birds, fish, and reptiles: The Amazon (427 mammal species), the Congo basin (>400), the Himalayas (>300), the Indian subcontinent (410)… any one of those has more mammal species than all of Canada (200 species). And by a large margin when all life is considered. China for reference has 558 mammal species and is amongst the most diverse environments on earth environmentally, if certainly not politically.

Protecting just 30% seems like the absolute bare minimum, not something to tirade against and credit Trudeau for.
 
Can’t go anywhere in the world that isn’t contaminated with dioxins and micro plastics. The illusion of pristine a wilderness is just that an illusion.
 
Micro plastics or not, I’ll take this over a parking lot, and certainly try to make sure it stays this way.

No, that would likely be counter productive, in Alberta doing it as we speak.

My main concern in life is seeing the wilderness slowly but surely disappear to ‘development’. It wasn’t lost on me outfitting I was selling Americans a slice of what had already been lost to development where they came from, there’s an unfortunate irony in that. Many of my clients’ home states had grizzlies in the recent past, and plentiful fish. Now they travel a long ways to see it.

As I said, time is the delta, one group has been right all along about a ton. Like not lift our heads off the ground due to amount of gold medals if ‘theories’ proving true were an Olympic sport. Go ahead and get tired lol. Truth doesn’t care, and it will never get tired so best of luck hanging onto the lies. So many do same thing, oh you’re wrong about this or that is bull, so that means it all is and the good ole classic if you can find one thing, any thing, to try and discredit a messenger you’ll do it, in hopes to relieve your discomfort. Make that message go away right. That’s so 2020. You’ll have to do way better than that now as the truth is crashing down around you every day all day now. The direction of this only goes one way, should be obvious by now.

Others not so much, especially those who parrot anything the government/tv/media (same entity) says is a guarantee you’ll get it wrong.just got lied to about something that didn’t exist for 3 years straight...of that goes away now for 30 30? Only in the npc world, not the real world. Be careful who you listen to, if they tell you not to listen to someone that’s exactly who you should listen to. These dots connect themselves, it’s been a few years straight.

People who’ve imbibed in far too much THC for far too long. Said more generally, a group that preys upon the vulnerable’s paranoia with a bizarre take on fairy tales like pedophilia rings based in pizza shops, and political and industry leaders drinking baby’s blood.

The core tenet is the world is run by a dark shadow cabal, and if you believe you’re one of those who sees the light. Gives meaning to life, leading them to believe they see the ‘big picture’.
 
It's not Wilderness and hasn't been since Adam and Eve stepped out of the Garden of Eden or since people arrived on this Continent. It is inherently racist to claim that there is "Wilderness".

The point is to make it untenable to live outside the City. The Notzies were big on depopulation and rewilding too.
 
Anywhere you can go without seeing signs of other humans for two weeks, is wilderness. :)

What wilderness means to me is not yet ‘developed’. That fortunately still abounds in this country, and I personally don’t see our species’ penchant for consumption for short term material gain as a reason to just give up. That’s like lighting your house on fire because there’s a rash of fires in the province. ;)

I could very well have missed it, but there was no indication that those lands would be restricted to fishers and hunter for recreational use. The entire northwest shore of Lake Superior and some of the watershed where I live has been designated a conservation area as part of this larger plan, and we all still fish and hunt there. It’s development that they’re trying to protect these areas from. Again, this is just my understanding of the program.
