An interesting 91/30 derivative commercial sporting rifle from the 1930s era:
Done in a strange proprietary caliber 8.2 X 66 mm, semi rimmed, bottle necked. It had a lead bullet weighing 9.6 grams, the mv was around 400 metres / second. From the information in the thread, the charge was originally some form of black powder. The loading may have changed in subsequent eras, who knows? I would imagine that in Soviet times you didn't throw out something so useful due to lack of commercial ammunition.
