Already a member, far too straight arrow. More deviance and less rich is my flavour. Somebody like c-fbmi that lives in the Yukon, and has done well, I can talk to. An orthopaedic surgeon from Manhattan and I have trouble sharing much with- and there are plenty of those at an SCI convention!

Interesting...What you need here in your clan is someone that is an "expert" finding loopholes, like the one I found in your original thread...hehe.

Thought I would qualify for everything except for the "One of the Big Five" category. I think most assumed Africa, but it was not "specified", hence the loophole. Watched a Nat Geo show the other night which featured the North America Big Five, being: Polar Bear, Grizzly, Moose, Bison, and Wolf.

So the "Big Five" category is now covered for me...Am I in?...lol
 
I'm not sure what exactly my responsibilities may be given that "title"............If I get the meaning correctly, I would be in charge of negotiating the bribes, when hunting abroad.....

Why thank you Angus, much obliged.... :)

I do have all of the qualifications, with the exception of the big 5 harvest and the large bore rifle..... (.45/70 does not count in my books).... I really must do something about these missing requirements.... :)

That being said, I do have an angry ex wife, sorry Douglas just the one.... but I can assure you that I would fear a charge from her more than one from an angry wounded Cape Buffalo... In fact, when I compare the two species they are both big and mean and hard on the wallet... Only difference is you have to hire a lawyer to defend you from one and a PH to defend you from the other....
 
Such an organization would be good for the telling of stories that are difficult, awkward, outlandish or shocking to tell anywhere else. At least you would be judged by a jury of your peers.

-One of the Big Five -Check 1 lion, 2 leopards, 4 buff- Ele this november
-Twenty head of photographed, or tag evidenced big game kills. We'll take honour on this too if we know you and you come from the stone age. Check
-Three continents of travel (hunting ideal, doesn't have to be) Check North , central, south america , europe and africa- fished all and hunted all except europe...
-One rifle 9.3 or better Check .470NE, 458 lott, 416 rigby, 5x .375.....
-Tall tales check "let me tell you about the rabid honey badger in the tent..."
-Deviant plans Check Too deviant for interwebs discussion
-An angry wife (optional, but makes me feel better to share) Check Check Is there some other kind that I don't know about?


A friend of mine just moved to Keno and he's bugging us to come and check out the new digs so I will probably traverse whitehorse sometime this summer..... Where should I sew the patch?

Oh yeah- I make my living bending steel and cant even spell docter let alone be one....
 
On Second thought I may withdraw my application.
I'm pretty sure I don't want anything to do with a club that would have me as a member.

Golly Phil I don't know, no angry wife, no deviant plans, no photos, unable to tell great stories except in French, no big five of your own.....................So let's see you got a 9.3 and have maybe travelled 3 or more continents..............If I didn't know you personally I'd be inclined to say YA RIGHT!!! :p:p:p;);)

You would be handy in the Congo though, and CAR and Cameroon...........and Paris on the way there and back..........

on my way a 375 ruger is coming maybe that is the deviant plan lol ... and a 458 win mag is somewhere in a safe lol ...

always thinking about being handy in Car just things changed a little there and my sango is really rusty lol ....

but Cameroon now you are talking ...

I don't know about Congo I was forbidden to go in Zaire in the 90s ....

for the wife she s pushing for bow hunting and she got a nice 357 for her valentine what else I can say lol ...

and she wants to go in Africa ....
