Well..........I will be damned.

I was looking to move a thread!

Thanks!

BTW..............those pics just made up my mind to start saving for a M305!

What is the clasification of the rifle with the smith arms 18.5 barrel on it? Is the barrel over the magical 470mm mark or did you have to reregister it as a restricted due to barrel length. I was thinking of getting one (if I can) but I want to keep my m14 non-restricted.

I think he means the vltor collapsable stocks

That is what I meant. I called them a while back to order one and they told me they can't get them. I even asked again when I was at his shop. :( It never fails I always ask about things a couple months to late.

Make: Vltor
Model: Stocks
Availability: Special Order Only
Description: Due to US State department export restrictions we can only supply these stocks for official police and Military customers. Please inquire for details.

It will still stay in the non-restricted class, otherwise I wouldn't have mine.:)

Are you wanting a different barrel? Or just cut down the M305 Norinco barrel like Jeff does at VGS? Look here:

Most people are just getting them cut down.

Yes I was asking about a new barrel. My current M305 shorty has a barrel cut down by "HWSNBN", and I'm considering selling it and doing my next build with the USGI "my #### will now not fall off" approach.

Thanks for the link though. :)
