Socom Resurrection

You said you were thinking of putting on the ultimak mount, I was also thinking this might be a good setup with a Leupold Scout Scope, have you tried this or know anybody who has. Also I'm looking for suggestions on an all in one Front site, suppressor, muzzlebreak. The Barrell has been shortened to 18.5" and is used for hunting.

I have not yet tried the Ultimak mount, one is already on order. Though, this would just be an experiment, mated to a JAE 100 or Vltor stock. But will see what becomes available (affordable) at the EE Section. 18.5is a sweet set up. I think this is a good balance of weight and balance for the M1A/M14S. Good luck and post pictures when your project is done.

Standby, am going to post another Sage build here soon. Maybe, this Saturday. Just waiting for one other part I had copied here locally since I cannot get the original (handguard). But I did manage to get the clip mount.

A Nice Set Up

This is not mine, just saw this while surfing the net. It's a beautiful set up. I might as well post it up for anyone who would want to build a SOCOM.

If it is side and or bottom rail you are after for a fiberglass/wood or plastic M14 stock...I offer these services.
I utilize CNC machined , milspec, 7075 T6 aluminum , 1913 picatinny rail.
There are MANY custom m14 stocks from my bench, in the hands of fellow CGN'ers bearing custom rail additions that are exactly what you are after.
Shoot me an email with your rail needs. I am installing full rails to 2 CGN'ers stocks at this very moment.
From full underside rails or any config you wish, look no further
, I can deliver.

Mark,
Contact ATR Alberta Tactical Rifle. Those guys are "sick". Rick's set ups are the best.. Not the best arournd but the BEST Period!! The one pictured above has a Mc Millian stock. Rick was out at the range this summer and that M1A screems. If the above is what you want, forget mine and go with ATR. Cheers.

You need to close out the IMG code. Your code shows as [IMG] when it should show

You are also missing the extension...

Here is one...
