You should know it may be difficult getting a hold of that upper.
thats like all Socom advertises, you would think the stuff they specialize in would be in-stock....

EDIT. I just got off the phone with buddy and you're right they dont have s**t instock, It makes me wonder sometimes why these guys even stay in business, especially a store that SPECIALIZES in uppers.. He has no uppers In stock period, he said they dont stock them and lead time is 3-6 months. To me this is BS this is your specialty and you have nothing on hand... wow! thats pretty half assed! I am assuming they just dont like the over head.... I know what your thinking... Its hard to get this stuff from the states... but in this case they have a fairly small catalog and should be able to manage a inventory, weak s**t, I wont bother with socom ever again... If you advertise uppers as your specialty you should have at least one on hand....

Noveske Uppers are Top Notch, I picked one N4 up from Socom here on the boards. They go pretty quick. While their service may not be the best, and stocks virtually empty all the time, they do get some of the coolest AR s**t once in a while.

Noveske isn't even taking orders AT ALL Since November '08, so finding the "ONE" you want may be difficult even stateside.

Noveske Uppers are always available on Gunbroker, but usually at a premium price. You might want to talk to questar to see if they can help you import one.

Not sure the availablity of 5.56 chambered uppers due to US DOS but I really dont see a problem bringing one in thats chambered for 6.8 as long as its min barrel length is 16" and it has a muzzle break. This is just rumours I keep hearing, havnt found concrete evidence on this yet.

Shot a full out Socom Leonidas the other day... One hell of a nice gun, definitely worth the wait if your willing to put that much money into something that is restricted... Shot so smooth...
