Was up @ Cabela's this week and thought I'd remembered a better selection of soft cases. Only had one "tactical" type soft case but too many straps/pockets. Seemed a bit gimmicky, maybe not? With the stock collapsed, the rifle is 35" long-what soft case would you suggest? CGN sponsor with a good selection?

Thanks for taking a moment to reply!

is it a traditional rifle configuration (fudd) or tactical (pistol grip)? Would it have a scope, red dot or none?

The Ruger 10/22 case is a good size with 2 pockets useful for jamming in a couple of magazines (depending on the firearm) but only fits the traditional style firearms and maybe a small red dot at most.

I personally use an older 5.11 single rifle gun case that is very minimal on straps and doesn't have huge bulging pockets, which I use for scoped rifles or tall firearms that use pistol grips.

and a cheap airsoft store gun case, called soft gun case.

Hey chilly-it's a gift for a buddy who has a Ruger PC Carbine/6 position stock with a SIG red dot on a riser on the forend/pic rail. Looking for a case for the rifle assembled, but open to other options. The (Allen?) case I saw online last night would seem to be for the 10/22 takedown. Likely holding just the rifle, but would like enough rigidity that the case doesn't buckle/hang-up going into a loaded vehicle. Still a soft case though. :) It's 35" long with the stock fully collapsed.
