Is there a source for commercial 7.5 Swiss ammunition suitable for the older Swiss rifle (Model 1889, etc.)?

I'm ready to reload, but curious if there are commercial offerings.

Thanks!

Not that I know of.

Pretty much have to handload.

You might find a few original GewehrPatron 1890 (GP90) rounds at a gunshow, but they’ll be expensive.

Downloading GP11 by about 10% ish seems to be the ticket?

It isn't hard ammo to make, just buy some 7.5 Swiss brass, potentially trim the neck down (1889s seem to have more tolerance on the chambers for the longer brass, all the other early designs I have used needed the necks trimmed to 53.5), put a mild load in with a .308 bullet and away you go. I personally don't bother with the ammo pulling and reusing games, GP 11 isn't common enough to make that game worth while. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any current manufacture ammo which is suitable for the 1889 on the market.

GP90 - the correct ammunition for the modified Model of 1889 - ceased production in 1923. Rare is not the word, I've never seen any, even in Switzerland. My shooting buddy, Dave shoots such a rifle I'll check with him for his load and get back to you. He wins, BTW shooting in the HBSA here in UK.
