Soft WLR primers?

I worked up the first loads for my new .220 Swift and hit the range today. I used WLR primers, and this is my first time using winchester primers. All of my loads showed flattened primers, which didn't seem to look any different from relatively mild loads to near max. loads. So, is it just me, or are the WLR primers really soft?:confused:

I'm having similar problems. They slip into uniformed pockets easier, seemingly deeper, and they back out and flatten in my 7600 in '06 when CCIs look perfect. I gave up on them and will stick with CCI.
 
In my experience CCI primers are harder than Win. with Federal in the middle. The older silver Win primers were harder than the newer brass colored ones. The Win primers are also a little smaller in diameter than both of the others. In saying all of this I use them almost exclusively and they work perfectly well.
