BRNO ZG47 in 30/06. Cant stand the calibre but the rifle itself is nice. Place in BC has one for $845

I never could understand the 357Magnum in a rifle as useful for anything but range blasting. I'd rather an SKS for that.

I had a Marlin 1894 in 357 , cool little rifle , but in the end , it was too big for the small stuff and to small for the big stuff . Others will disagree I'm sure , but that's how it seemed to me . Nothing against the rifle or cartridge , it just didn't fill any need I had .
