Wrong.
Out of Province sale so you don't pay PST.
So yes only 5% as stated my previous post
Yes you do, taxes are (at least supposed to be) charged based on destination province and using its tax rates, not based on the vendor's province.

You may want to check that.

I forgot to mention the TI Picatinny side rail mount and Kobra side rail are different, so you have to swap the different rails onto the threaded pins if alternating both. The Kobra side rail mount is compatible with certain non-TI Picatinny mounts as an alternative; you can seek info in those out elsewhere on the forum.
I have bought around 10 rifles from TI, so I should know. Yes, no?
Tax is 5 % if you are in BC and order from Tactical Imports as well as many others like Tenda, SFRC, Ellwood Epps, Marstar and others in Alberta as well I have ordered from in the last year.
Reason is because in BC we have GST and PST, not HST like in Ontario.
So please stop claiming something you obviously have no clue about.
Just because TI has been doing it wrong doesn't make you right. You can also be right while nothing he said was wrong. All the info is available on Canada Revenue Agency's website. Taxes are supposed to be charged as per the destination province, just like he said. Although it is possible firearms are exempt from GST or PST for whatever reason in BC
They all do it and it's legal.
Out of province business have no requirement to register with the BC government for PST.
The point was that judging if something is legal based on what a vendor or individual is doing is misleading at best.
Check with CRA or your CA.
Of course the province of BC would love to get their sticky fingers on all of that PST.
You sound as if you have a business who is charging PST when you don't really have to??
Trust me, Tenda, TI and SFRC are very big businesses. Do you question that their CA's know less than you my highness?

One thing is for sure, you have a serious attitude problem
I won't bother naming names, but other very big vendors on this site are still calculating and charging out of province taxes incorrectly to this day
Again, judging what is legal based on what other people are doing is the least intelligent approach to any issue.
I haven't argued one way or the other, so trying to claim I am doing one thing or the other is silly and demonstrative of the flawed logic you follow which is all I was pointing out in the first place.
It can be true (and it is) that online sales in BC from out of province vendors get charged at 5% while the CRA states that online sales are to be taxed at the destination province's tax rate. It just shows how pointlessly convoluted our tax laws are. Getting feisty with people online does nothing to fix or change that
What day / time is the restock? I was also looking at the replacement parts kit and most of it seems like it wouldn't need replacing other than a firing pin. The firing pin looks like an AK firing pin. What do you guys think
I think the LMG sales are down because people want the regular version, it'll be a while until there are enough around to lower the price. And if you look at pictures of both firing pins they are identical
As per the Canada Revenue Agency:
GST, HST or PST?
CRA's Place of Supply rules determine which tax a business should collect.
The easiest way to determine the rate of tax to charge is to look at the province or territory in which the product is supplied to the customer. If a product was bought in your business, the customer pays your jurisdiction’s sales taxes. If a customer asks you to deliver products to a different province or territory, you charge the taxes of the jurisdiction where the product ends up.
I think that is the case, who wants to pay $300+ more for the lmg when the regular one is available?
