That was initially what TI was told and used to market the rifle, but, circumstances have since changed. Later, the factory received interest from a government other then China's for further production. While waiting for the order to come through, they were happy to keep making Type 81s for TI.

A phosphate run of normal T81s would be epic.

Us too! Although if we do get in would be closer to 1199 due to material increases and tank of USD to RMB

Sounds like you didn't update your address with the RCMP when you moved! Won't proceed with shipping unless shipping address matching address on file with RCMP!

No i have lived at the same address for years . i have ordered from TI less than 6 months ago with no issues . i did just renew my PAL a couple months back maybe that has something to do with it? , it never even expired and got my new card ..

Given how much manure had hit the fan since TI brought the rifles first in, a reasonable price increase is entirely understandable.
