Mine needed a bit of windage adjusting as well. I do like the set screw for adjusting windage of the front sight instead of using an sks type sight tool to press it across.
Just wondering if someone can confirm how the rear sights works on the LMG? The left and right numbers are different distances so is one used for the lower portion of the rear sight and the other side for the upper side of the rear sight where it’s cut? For those who have opened you will know what I’m talking about. The instructions are not too clear from what I have read.
I know what you’re talking about and I think that’s the way it’s supposed to be used. The 600 and 700 setting used with the notch in the upper rear sight piece.
That’s some serious elevation and a healthy dose of optimism to go with it , 762x39 at 700 meters is one loooooong lob of a shot lol
I was going to do that, measurements say it will work. I ended up using the Muzzle device from my parts bin that came from a Hatsan Optima 12Ga. I just had to press it onto the T81 thread protector, the fit was about .008" interference fit. Seems very sturdy, guess I will see how it does after a few hundred rounds tomorrow.
So I put 220 down the pipe today, not a single issue - very impressed.
I had to mess with the front post for elevation and windage, but got in on the 24" gong center within 5 shots - then dialed her in at 100Yds on paper. I was able to hit the 6" plate 10 for 10 sitting on the bipod. Then went out to 200 and 300 (16" plates), used setting 3 on the rear sight - needed to aim 1 plate low on the 200, then hit POA for 300. Fairly consistent hits.
My main complaint is the damn little spring retainer for the butt plate cover - that thing chewed me up!
Here is my set-up at the 100yd.

That is a message that sometimes happens when it is shipped signature required. They are just redirecting it to the nearest Post Office for pick up so it actually doesn’t go out on the delivery truck. Should get a card to go in and pick it up.
Whew, good to know. I was starting to panic there for a minute. Was just about to call Canada Post.
Type 81’s don’t work when it snows ?...
I'm in the same boat. I'm 8228 and my status still says order processing. I don't expect it will ship this week at all. Maybe next week if I'm lucky. So it will be something like a month and a half since my cc was charged before I receive it

Well mine has finally been scanned by canada post.....just sat with them for 11 days before doing anything. I should have it by the 14th, according to their tracking
