you do not see that much some bargain on the sr with the optic. that rifle is a keeper and once the stock issue will be completely resolved i doubt they will be a bargain available soon.

We have been shipping T81 SE's since last week, several hundred have gone out so far. Canada Post pickups are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, packing is Mon-Fri and sometimes weekends depending on backlog

Ti is 3 weeks min lol, this has been the norm with all of their big roll outs. I don't think most of you understand the logistics of all of this ffs
That’s very true. Thankfully so far I’ve only had one place decide they wanted to add an extra few bucks on after the fact for shipping.
Now call me crazy, but I feel like the majority of us get the logistics behind this. Specially the few of us who’ve worked in a shipping/receiving area of a business at some point in our lives. Some of us just get a little impatient and turn into the equivalent of kids on Christmas Eve after we hit the “submit order” button…it could say it’ll be here in the next hour and at the 55minute mark we’d still be sitting there wondering where it was at.
Anyways, some of us just like cracking small jokes is all I’m getting at.
Also if anyone is curious: got the shipping email at about midnight should be here Monday if CP is on track with deliveries still.
the last ones i received from ti i got the notices when the shipping already occured. i will say without having any interest they re doing the best they can.
Lol, it looks like the reason for the delay showed up--at least for me. Maybe other customers also received the same email?
I got an email this morning saying that the manufacturer shipped them the wrong number of Type 81 SE OR Fixed Stock rifles and that they're all out of stock.
This is weird because I placed an order hours after it was announced and received my transfer notice the very next day...so either the number of OR fixed stock rifles that were sent were laughably low or orders weren't fulfilled in the order they were received (or maybe my order was prepared but was given to someone else for some reason or another).
The OR Fixed Stock version was also on the website for a few more days before mysteriously disappearing too so that meant people were still able to order them up til they realized what happened and pulled it.
In the email, they provided some alternative solutions that I'm not too happy about. I specifically ordered for the OR so I didn't have to deal with the install myself, and I chose fixed because I prefer it over the folding stock.
I'll see what they have to say to my response

Admittedly, this post was fueled by a knee-jerk upset reaction on my part, and for that I do apologize
The staff at TI reached out and were able to resolve the issue quickly. It's unfortunate that the manufacturer mix-up soured my experience on a first time purchase but they handled the situation really well and turned things around for me. Thanks again

For anyone waiting, I was order 19153.
Ordered Nov 24, got the package on Dec 6.
Still waiting for the second half the order…ended up going to the west coast of Nate as of coming east. Clearly Canada Post has some serious freight moving around and it’s causing some mix ups.

happens all the time,people say they were destroyed,nothing they can do about it,it's your property,you're allowed to destroy it,no law against it,you just need to notify them,doesn't matter much since most law enforcement agencies have allready said they wont waste a single minute to any confiscation scheme,
