The CSA side mount with the low-profile mount. In the event that it doesn't work could I send a non-OR back to TI to get it drilled and tapped for the dedicated Type-81 mounts?
Thanks for the response.
there is no need for drilling and tap. you need to switch the safety and 2 pins then you can add your rail on the left side.
but there is a but you can get it only with the kobra red dot.
All folders have right hand safety. At least mine from the first batch did. Non OR.
I don't understand, how can a mount that I have work, but the optic that's going on it effect that mounting ability? I would like to put an aimpoint on mine.
you will need the rail mount then a weaver plate and then the aimpoint will sit in.
Right hand safety on non-optics ready folder is a deal breaker for me.
I vaguely remember something about the left side safety having an issue with the folder on the SE, which is why they switched it on the non-optic ready folder. Can someone refresh my memory? Was there a reason someone can't get the non-Optic folder and purchase a surplus left safety from someone else who replaced there's with the right side from a TI optic kit? Regardless, an option would be to get the fixed stock, and then mod a Zhukov variable length of pull folding stock to fit, or install a VZ folder using a FoxStrap printed adapter.
Should've pulled the trigger last night, the folders gone. I guess there's the next shipment.
Thanks for being an #######.
luckily i did not wait for ti email i received one at 702am and i stayed in front of the pc up to the right time.
I cdouln't make up my mind between the folder/fixed/ optics ready versions, I'm still on the fence lol

now, your choices are down to two, fixed and fixed OR.
take your time and it will be no choice, problem solved, lol.
