How's the condition of everyone's receivers?

I got mine in the mail today. Looked great out of the box initially. But upon closer inspection, my receiver is all scratched up. Upper handguard also has play up, down and side to side. Anybody else experience this?

use birchwood casey aluminum black.you will be impressed. dab on effected area, let it do it’s magic for a min or so then clean off with water.wipe dry and boom. like it was never there. works very well on park’d steel incase anyone says its for ar’s and such.

After installing the Kobra sight. Now the safety doesn't want to turn.. I think I saw something about this on CGN but can't find it..?

Any idea why?

I had the same thing happen on one, not sure exactly why it happened but I just fully removed the adapter plate and re-installed it and torqued it back down to 40 inch pounds and all was good.

The spring inside bends when overtightening.

I unthightened the screw a bit and now the safety is moving a lot easier.

I can see the bronze plate being squeeze when I thigh the screw all the way in. But now I have a gap between the side rail and the receiver...
