I have heard the TC's are good rifles. I have seen one and I find them a bit heavy.
I have a Ruger American 243 Compact and I like it, at just over 7# with a 6X scope it is nice to carry and easy to store being only 37" long. It is fairly accurate as well with the right load as are all rifles.
