Currently there is on "BC Auction" (the government surplus disposal site) two rolls of solid 50/50 solder wire for sale, in the tools section. Unfortunately they are not willing to ship this item and it must be picked up at their Surrey office. These rolls are 10 kg. each which makes for 44 lbs. of 50/50 lead tin mix without any messy flux core. Perfect for adding to wheel weights or pure lead to make a harder alloy like Lyman No. 2 mix, (refer to the Lyman reloading book for cast lead for the proportional recipe). I thought that this might be of interest to one of the CGN members in the Vancouver/Surrey area.
Current bid is just over $45 and it closes on Thursday.

I don't need this but I live in Surrey and if there is someone that does but can't pick it up, I am willing to drop by and pick it up for them.
