Solely Canadian vs Raven concealment holster

They are both excellent Kydex holsters. It comes down to availability for your specific model, how they fit you personally and cost.
I've tried both and own the Solely Canadian ones. They hold on to the gun well, are very stable, easy to draw quickly and well made.
Tim also has a limited lifetime warranty on his product. Raven has more options for different styles of draw but we are limited here as to how we can draw at the range anyways.

I had a Raven Concealment holster and 2 by Solely Canadian. They are both well made but for about the same price, i prefer to buy the one that are handmade in Canada. Also you can contact Tim directly and get a holster with the exact specs you want.

Thanks for the info guys. I prefer to buy Canadian when possible. I think I will order a couple from Solely Canadian.

I should mention that I've used Raven since 2007 - I have 3 of them, so when I say that Solely is equal to Raven, I'm saying that they're as good as what I consider to be the best available.

This for me as well. Given the choice between two products I'd rather buy not only Canadian but also small business as well. I'll even spend a bit more to do so. I will be getting a Solely Canadian for my MK25.

X3

Go with Tim! Canadian made and he always picks up his phone when you call. No backorder BS, shipping from US, exchange rate, and Superb Quality!

Just found it weird that with our restrictive laws that concealed carry holsters are everywhere for sale. I use OWB but for IPSC. I suppose you can use a CC holster inside your house too. Just wondering what the appeal was.

You can use them for IDPA. If fact, you are suppose to conceal your holster with a jacket for most scenarios.
You don't see many IWB, shoulder rigs and cross draws in Canada as most ranges don't allow them due to safety concerns.

Chalk me up as another vote for Solely Canadian being at least the equal of Raven in quality, function, and fit and finish (having used both).

I think in this case the "concealed" part refers more to the low profile than actual IWB. Most of these holsters are actually worn OWB for any competition.
