I've been waiting for months for someone locally to get federal 22 bulk bricks back in. I couldn't wait anymore so today I bought this

Remington 22lr high velocity bucket o' bullets. I thought it would be crap but turns out it's awesome stuff!

300 rounds today out of my 597.. and not a single hick-up. To date, the only other ammo I have found that runs this flawlessly though my 597 is CCI Velocitor, but that's far to expensive for high volume plinking.

Now that I've tried it, I think that for 5.4 cents a round, this stuff can't be beat. Anyways, I just wanted to share in case someone saw one of these buckets and was on the fence about buying one.

Yea works great for myself as well. Thought the 10/22 might not, but it cycles well. It flakes an awful lot but can't argue with it's effectiveness.

Not too much trouble to get ammo here in SW Nova... I shoot CCI sub sonic now. Gone thru about 3 bricks since I started using em and not a dud yet!!

If you are using LRN in a pinch as opposed to copper washed 22lr .. do not forget to keep an eye on lead build up. Invest in a wire brush .. or bore snake ...

Best part of the Remington stuff is the bucket. Lol.
Found it dirty and lots of ftf

This was in pistols. Ruger mk2 and a s&w 41

Seemed to work ok in my rifle. Just dirty.

I bought two buckets, and I have put at least 1 bucket so far through my Takedown, without cleaning the barrel, and there is no buildup. Being that I can pull my barrel off the gun and look down it..

I have a takedown as well and have a bucket o bullets. Do you use the factory mag in youres? I seem to have some jamming issues with the aftermarket banana mag...
