my guess is the azzhats are gonna make it so that you have to present a firearms license to purchase parts and accessories including reloading components. Closing the 80% sales is just step one.
And my bet is that those parts will be only availlable as per the class of the firearms license and this would cover ALL parts and accessories and will probably include scopes and sights as well.
I'm just spitballing here but I'd be willing to bet 100 cash that this is the road these fuggers are gonna go down. Our firearms businesses are gonna get smashed by this and I bet 40% will be out of business after year one.

This AR15 mold made it's rounds here a few years ago. Since it's so easy to make your own mold this one is just for the lazy and/or inept. I do like the stainless insert they have available though.
Does anyone know if there is a way to make a stronger chocolate? Would adding coconut shaving stiffen it up, kind of like that fiber reinforcing stuff in concrete? I really, really want to make a functional, chocolate AR15 lower.

Could probably use clear epoxy and make a see through AR15 lower. It would look like that airsoft #### from Canadian tire, lol.

I'd like to say this is all tinfoil and rabid paranoia, but I can't. I can easily see exactly this happening, although I'm not sure how you would restrict the sales of optics according to firearms classification since virtually all optics are universal among numerous firearms platforms.
Rangebob has done work on the economic damage done by the Firearms Act and it was massive. I don't know if he is willing to share his numbers here (I saw them privately) but the damage already done is bigger than wiping out what remains of our firearms industry in this country.

I am an example of the current state of the firearms industry to some degree. For me as soon as Justin got elected I closed my composites shop for rifle stock making. At the time , rick at atrs had mentioned to me that they were always looking for canadian manufacturers for AR accessories and also for the modern hunter. I can quite easily manufacture just about anything in composites using a variety of methods. Anyone can learn composites and if you have the time to take some courses, which are usually intense 3 to 7 day modules, like I said, "anyone" can learn to manufacture just about anything in composites. I chose to shop my services around in different markets and now keep busy enough making composite parts for the budding green energy systems and an easy one was custom RV components for a local RV shop. The desire to not have to deal with the red tape and intrusiveness of the firearms business has led me away from doing what I really enjoy but a guy has to keep busy so it is what it is.
as far as providing links or any other info , I'm not going to counsel someone on ways around the restrictions but anyone can educate themselves on composite processes and mold making..... heck I have a milling machine, a real good manual industrial sized unit and I'll probably be dead long before i could ever master it enuff to make a lower for anything hahaha
but in the end folks, we all forget about the venerable Zip Gun and the fact that one can be made from a bicycle pump or any other spring and tube device so really in the end, crimminals will always get a weapon if they want one.
