SOLVED, Sending back

Anyone know anywhere to purchase a SKS trigger?

If your not handy with tools you should just send it to a smith to be corrected. If you want I could do it for you but I'm in Ontario. PM me if that intersts you.

To answer your question Numrich gun parts will have trigger parts and possibly a whole assembly although I think they were sold out of entire assemblies the last time I checked.

I'm pretty handy and have watched some very informative YouTube videos on how to do it.

I'm going to give it a shot before pulling the pin on buying another trigger, really I have nothing to lose by trying as it's not useable now anyways.

If your sear mag release spring is weak the shock of the carrier moving forward can knock the sear out from under the hammer. It could be a few other things though. A really bad negative sear engagement could also cause this.

sear spring is weak or tampered with causing a malfunction.

Yea I think Lever Arms in Vancouver still sells sks parts.

You can also try the EE here under Surplus Parts... I think there was one there in the last two weeks... maybe. It probably already sold, but worth combing through. Also you could post a WTB "Want to buy" asking for that. Someone may have a "parts gun" already partly torn down.

Now we are going to to have problems with all SKS. I always was wonder what will be the reason for RCMP to prohibit SKS. The answer is easy - people who use them.

Really? The OP is doing the smart thing by asking for help trying to track down an actual problem. How is any of that relevant or accurate in any way?

To the op sounds like you got the advice you needed.

how is this against rules? It is currently operating in an automatic manner, you would think from the OP that you would have figured out i am aware its not supposed to and it malfunctioning.

Don't know if this has been covered;

It's not operating, it's malfunctioning. Now get it fixed if you can't sort it out yourself. ASAP, IMHO.

It's actually a very simple machine, there's no magic here my friend

Thank your lucky stars, in my opinion. The gods have deliver a fully automatic Kalashnikov unto thee !! Find a secluded place, keep the "malfunctioning" trigger--and enjoy the pleasure of full auto fire. P.S. Keep your little secret to yourself.
What kind of Moron are you, 1. It is not a full auto trigger it is broken, the gun fires from putting the bolt in battery!
2. What you are suggesting is illegal if the trigger was auto, which it isn't, a moderator should have a discussion with you on the rules of this site. We don't need trollers making illegal and dangerous suggestions on this website!
