So i received my new Thureon Defense Carbine today, and after unpacking it i try and adjust the stock, which is fully extended. So i start tugging and pulling and pushing and it just won't move, and then i notice that there is pin. I re-read the ad which stated "FIXED M4 STOCK", which i didn't notice before.

TL;DR I have a Thureon carbine with a fixed collapsible stock.

My question is, can i remove the pin and use it normally? I check up pictures of the Uzi mag version with it collapsed here on CGN, so why would it be different with the glock version? Any legal issues?

I searched CGN with no results on this issue.

It sounds like a similar situation to the stocks on the JR carbines, where it was done so they could be exported from the states. There's been several threads where the owners stated they drilled the pins out, and the stock now works as it should. And as long as the gun is still over 26 inches OAL with the stock fully collapsed, and meets all other requirements for NR, it shouldn't change status.
