SOLVED!-Winchester 94 Canadian Centennial with brass? plated receiver

These long barreled 30-30 rifles are very accurate. More easily discovered if you remove that factory ramp and in its place install a rear peep sight.
My only complaint that cheesy stamped shell lifter broke in half after only about 200 rounds. Circa 1967 crap.
Of course over several range sessions.

I had a matched set until the rifle was stolen. My buddy and I used to use them for whitetail hunting. He used the rifle and I used the "short rifle".
